Sounds like an alignment problem to me. I doubt Sears will give you a free one as you altered the set-up that they gave you the original alignment on but it's worth a try.

Does it pull the same on all roads? Or does it seem to change with different roads? What tires did you get on the new rims? The reason I ask is because some tires tend to follow the road more than others.

If you put the old rims/tires back on and it still pulls the same then just get it re-aligned.

If you still have the old rims, put those on and take it back to get a alignment if they'll only do it with the same setup and not the new rims.

Was it doing the same or similar with the old rims/tires?

If it's pulling the same on every road then I would think it just needs an alignment.

Rims/tires that are out of balance should just make the steering wheel shake.

honestly, I've never dealt with Sears Auto so I don't know. I'm very picky who touches my car. I do most everything on my car with the exception of alignments and tire balancing/mounting.

I take my car to a hotrod shop that also does alignments and tire balancing/mounting. They do real good work and are very nice to deal with. The next time I get tires I'm going to them as well. Had some bad experiences with Discount Tire, never went to Bell Tire though.

My accord does that too but its just because i dont have any suspension yet...and my rims are 17s tires are siped adding more traction it only does it when i shift and im not holding onto the wheel all the way, im thinking it will quit when my suspension is installed.

The onyl way you will know if they will work on your car for free is if you ask them, I highly doubt anyone here works at Sears where youa re going so we cannot honestly answer your question on that.

As far as the rims I am assuming they are used with used tires....so for all you know the tires are worn unevenly, the rims bent etc....easy thing to do is rotate the tires and see if the pull changes. As in once you move the tires around see if it still pulls the same way, if it does not its likely a wheel/tire.

does she like a stiff bouncy ride? if so get them.
They are semi decent when paired with a good strut (tokico Illumina or Koni for example), but overall tehy are cheaply made coilovers that are way too stiff a spring rate for most shocks.

changing rim size and switching will change alot in your cars ride and handeling, your speed ometor no longer will give proper readings. you get worse gas milage, and will losse horse power at the wheels. the wait further out from the center of the rim (even though it may be lighter) will take more to turn it. well any who thats info on + sizeing you rims.

but even the tires can have a manufactuars defect that could be causeing the pull. also one more note changeing rims will change ride hight, and that will change almost all alimengt angles. thus they wight charge for another alingment.

but good luck with it all

Plus sizing your rims means that you choose a tire which is the same height as the original one, but fits on a bigger rim.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">your speed ometor no longer will give proper readings.</TD></TR></TABLE>

If plus sizing is done (not just getting bigger rims and tires that fit on those rims), the speedo will still show the correct reading.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">you get worse gas milage</TD></TR></TABLE>

How can you be so sure about that? He might even get better gas milage with tires whose height is different from the original tires. But if the right size tire is chosen, it will stay the same.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">and will losse horse power at the wheels.</TD></TR></TABLE>

How so? So you're saying that if I take off my wheels, my whp will increase? I should try that one sometime.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the weight (not wait) further out from the center of the rim (even though it may be lighter) will take more to turn it.</TD></TR></TABLE>

You don't seem to undertand the concept of inertia. The inertia of a wheel with more mass closer to the center of rotation can be equal to or less than the inertia of a wheel with less mass further away from the center of rotation. The lighter wheel does not automatically have more inertia.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">changeing rims will change ride hight, and that will change almost all alimengt angles</TD></TR></TABLE>

It won't always change the ride height. As I said before, if a tire of the same height as the original is chosen, the ride height will be unaffected. If a wheel of a different height is put on, the center of the wheel will sit higher/lower than the original. Although this will change the ride height, it does not affect the suspension and alignment at all.
