i have a carb legal header on my car and a friend is offering a straight up trade for a new ITR Race header by DC Sports would you do it .......


i pretty much know what im getting myself into with the whole SMOG thing (Cali)
but the gains ....if any trade is for a B16 DC Ceramic header 4-1 carb legal for a ITR 4-1 DC Ceramic race header......ultimatley i make the final decision but just curious what the concensus would have to say about it

 

id go for it, if i wasnt in cali

i say dont do it... just cause of the hassle a cop may give you.

 

what you can always do is just put the heat-sheild back on over the ITR header.

 

the heat wont bolt to it or is ther some way to do it.

I wouldn't do it. Its still just another DC header. If it was a Profab, SMSP, or RMF or something then I'd say yes
