help help help.. runs and idle fine. but try to give it gas.. and it just bogs then goes up.. slowly...

 

what does it do when u floor it? when mny car did this, it was the oxygensensor. the way i knew this was that when i flored it, it worked perfectly. this being because when the ar is flored, the ECU ignores what the oxygen sensor is telling it and will dump the max amount on gas into the engine.

 

yeah when i floor it .. it goes... what o2 sensor works for ctr motor thought??

and it kind of bogs down and stuff

not really.. just kindof shoots crap out the exhaust.. just bogs right as soon as u touch throttle

 

It might be something like a deteriorating fuel line or a hole somewhere in the fuel line

Not all that common.. and if there was a hole in the fuel line then he would have a strong smelling gas odor in the car.

BTW do you have any CEL? did you wire up all the sensors correctly?
What ECU are you using with the swap?
Fuel Pressure good?

 

Did you recently swap the motor in?
Have you work on it recently?


Any CEL's?

Sound like the map and tps are switched or timing related.

 

ok.. i have an obd1 p30 with type r base map..

ALL SENSORS THAT I KNOW OF ARE IN .. FOR THE CTR

the car now over heats.. AND ONCE I WAS HOME.. IT STARTED TO OVER HEAT..

and comming home today it started acting like it didnt want to go.. like the fuel pump wants to quit working...

NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT..

MOTOR WAS JUST PUT IN

 

AND IT DONT WANT TO MOVE AT ALL WITH FUL THROTTLE

 

How is your Fuel pressure? your fuel pump might be taking a **** on you as well as your distributor

 

distributer is new. so its not that.... and it will rev right as soon as i start it. but once its warm it gose to crap.. i know the fuel pump is comming on..
