Anyone else have one of these? The ones with the rubber bushings. I bought them for my car and they squeaked really bad so I sprayed WD-40 on them and it stopped the squeaking but now, when I reverse and put it in drive and take off I hear a clunk. The clunk only happens when I reverse then put it in drive. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it??

 

does it make the noise when your turn too sometimes??? like from stop to go? sounds like something is tryin to pop into place?

 

not really, only does it when i reverse and pop it into gear and take off. but before that it squeaked like crazy before i wd-40'd it.

 

check the upper control arms on each side, i had a pretty similar noise because the bottom bolt off the camber kit was coming loose

jack up the car
see if you can slide the tire like its turning and watch the camber kit
if thats not is start checkin underneath the car for it

it took me a good hour to finally locate that my camber kit was loose

 

mmm hopefully i'll check it out tomorrow. It only comes from the passenger side too
