Fuel Pressure Reg. Question...

This was on the JDM H22, connected to the FP Regulator. I swapped the H23 Fuel Rail, and i was wonderin if this needs to be on there for it to work with the VTEC. got the 23 fuel rail, and the 22 injectors

dont need it.
its some kind of emissions in japan.
just make sure you use the h22 fuel pressure regulator and not the h23
