which scan tool to buy?
I am looked for a tool to be able to read the codes of my honda accord 1998 ex, in ebay there are many, I want to buy a cheap, easy to handle, and with the characteristics necessary to know the possible problems of my car.
I have an AutoXray 6000 scanner that will work on most any vehicle, but it costs about $400. Do you want a scanner or just a code reader? B/C with a scanner, you can look at realtime data and do MUCH more than just reading codes. I think you can get a basic one for fairly cheap. I'd go with AutoXray or Actron either way. Never used an Actron but hear they're pretty good. I stand by AutoXray products for the average car enthusiast.
thanks for the answer, but I want one with the characteristics to yours, but more cheap,
