Default problem lowering rsx front side only

Ok guys. i lowered my friends 02 rsx s rear with maxspeed lowering springs. It took us couple hours. But when we go to fronts i had trouble figuring how to remove struts. i remove the 2 big bolts connecting the strut , the 2 brake line bolts and the top 3 bolts on engine bay. But i can t figure out why it wont pop off. strut is still hanging from where the camber kit connects to steering with cotter pin. Do we need to remove this part. How do i remove and pics how install front lowring springs on rsx s only fronts. We got the rear in find but the car looks weird its slammed on rear and stock height on front. Please help. THis is my first time lowering rsx s. front is complicating. i dont wanna just pop that the camber ball joint off and mess it up.

Thats your tie rod and you need a pitman or gear puller to remove it. Smashing it with a hammer or using a tapered remover is only going to f' it up.

IS IT REQUIRED TO REMOVE THE TIE ROD?? TO INSTALL SPRINGS? WHERE CAN I GET THAT TOOL AND HOW DOES IT LOOK LIKE?? dID YOU LOWER IT YOURSELF

ITS THE COTTER PIN AND NUT. SO WE NEED SPECIAL TOOL.

Once you remove the cotter pin and nut then you need the special tool. You will see a boot that is filled with grease. The bolt is smooth and tapered before then threads and therefore is pretty tough.

DO NOT USE THIS TOOL TO REMOVE THE TIE ROD

This is the correct tool, it hooks on the top of the tie rod and the screw tightens down on the bolt. It will pop without damaging the tie rod end and boot.

And yes I've lowered my car on Skunk2 springs, then Skunk2 coilovers, then Hayame Coilovers and now Teins. Not to mention numerous other RSX's that I have done for friends.

HOW DO YOU HOOK ON TIE ROD AND DO YOU NEED TO TOOL TO PUT BACK TOGETHER??? HOW DO I PUT TIE ROD BACK TOGETHER JUST POP IT BACK IN AND PLACE THE NUT AND COTTER PIN?
