Default What's up with CR-X?

Is that a proper way to label the car, with the dash after the R? I've seen some people list there's as that and wondered if it's a JDM thing. To me it looks like CR type X.

It's Civic Renaissance eXeprimental, and I believe I have some PDF's at home which prove that point. I'll see if I can dig them up, I may be wrong.

The USDM Cars on the back middles Light panel says 'CRX' On the JDM one is says 'CR-X'. A lot of ppl change their lights over to the JDM counter part, that's probabley why you see it a lot.

yeah and some of the literature is carried over from japan. but the - is a japanese thing. US literature and logos dont have it for whatever reason.

personally i like it without the -.

its not like its "NS-X" either in japan.

and ill add that i like the 2nd gen font much better than the 1st gen font. i guess it looked futuristic of the 80's.

IDK but my EDM seats dont have a dash in the CRX stitched in them, neither do any of my doors panels.
