Default 95 Prelude real JDM brake pads

Just want to know if any one knows if a true right hand drive JDM prelude 2.2VTEC DOHC is the same as a state side prelude(brake pads). The pads here in Japan are around $120 JUST FOR THE FRONT.

thats dealership prices

what a rip. that 126 bux could get you some top of the line (for street) hawks/cobalts/axxis etc

there is no difference in "jdm" brakes either

I am in the Army. Did you know you can pick up a prelude 2.2 DOHC VTEC with about 40K miles for only a $1,000. here. It is crazy how cheap a car is here (used).

Kinda unsurprised. From what I've heard, the Prelude ain't very popular in Japan.

Yeah @ 40k that car is normally ready to be striped for parts and mostly likely the motor shipped here..

From what I've been told is they only let cars on the road for so long and so many miles until you have to pay extra to keep them and to have them emissions checked.. It's much stricker over there I hear...

That's why there are so many motors shipped here with 40k - 60k miles on them... Where are the JDM motors come from..

Good business for the Auto Makers over there.. Either have to buy a new engine or a new car.. Keeps their sells up and the heck, what do we do? We buy their old unwanted engines..
What a nice little way to keep money rolling through your country..

- Oh this is just from what I've been told from forgein people I work with...

^yeah about right.

something like 4 inspections a year, swapping engines at certain mileages, etc.

when i was there, i heard renting a parking spot for your car is more $$$ than the actual car
