Okay fellas tonight i noticed when i turned my lights on that my fog light switch was not light up as its supposed to be so i get out the car and check the fogllights and nothing, they're not working. My setup is 93 teggy with JDM one piece headllighs. So Im like WTF?? Maybe its just the fuse or something get to homeys shop check it out and fuse is not popped. So now Im really confused as to what it could be. Do you think that the fuse could've just gone bad but not popped?? IS there a possibility my buibls both went out?? But if so wouldn't the switch still light up?? What should i do or check. Please anybody with some useful info would be greatly appreciated cuz this is gonna drive me nuts till its fixed. I hate the way the lights look with no foggies.

 

mayb your switch is bad, it could be the bulbs in the fog lights but dont know why our fog light switch wont work. Mayb it is just the switch that is bad, if u have a friend with a DA use his fog switch and see what happens

 

so you think it could be the relay switch then?? how would i go about switching the two parts??

 

if u mean how to install it, it is simple, pop the old fog light switch out, unplug the wire, then connect it to the new one, and you can test it from there

 

It seems like everyone with JDM one pieces has different setups, my fog lights automatically come on with my driving lights, i have no switch.. hmm anyways, go ahead and check the bulbs, maybe you had one out for a while and never noticed then the other finally went out? Also did you wire them yourself? How did you wire it? Ghetto? or solder? Check your connections where you wired it in..

theyre not burnt out trust me i always check them i dont know why i just do im thinking it could be the connection.

 

Hey just as a future reference for those in the future who might come across this problem i have figured out what the whole deal was. Since i am running a JDM XSi gauge cluster it doesn't show display that shows when your brights are on whereas USDM clusters do with that little blue light thing or whatever so i was running my brights without realizing it and when your brights are on my default your fogs turn off. So I just had to turn off brights and whola fogs back. Pretty dumb huh?? But hey what can you do at least those in the future will learn from my error.
