Default B18 and AC

I was going to do a GSR swap into my 91 civic HB and I was wondering if the AC would still be able to work(as in still blow cool air). I asked around and some said it would, and some said no.....they didn't seem to reliable though. If not I'd do the B16 cause that one could run a cool AC right?

I heard its a pain in the *** to make the A/C work. You have to fabricate a bracket or I believe Hasport makes one but it's expensive, don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure I just read about this the other day. You should try a search I know I've seen this topic before.

Will the car's performance be lowered by the tight fit?

I'm running a B18C1 in my 91 CRX. I have my AC connected using Hasport bracket. Its not that expensive, people say use the OEM from a Del Sol, but Some say it don't fit. I went with Hasport because it was designed for it and no hassel. I converted to R134A and it blows cool enough for me, but I bet it would be colder with R12, but too expensive to fill. Check out this link it has a pic of my AC & Engine.

Got it off ebay from a9star9a for $150 two years ago. Now they go for $160. Go to ebay motors and search for this seller, Trust worthy. The compressor still works great.

No not by the fit, the size of anything that goes on your car other then the weight will not effect your performance,

Thats like saying puting stickers on your car adds horsepower

However when you kick on the air condition in any car any size it will take a little bit of its power
