Default FS: USDM H22A1 Long Block Complete. Needs Rebuild! CHEAP!

PRICE IS $400 firm.

NO.3 1992 motor.

well im selling my H22A1 long block which came off my prelude. its a 1993 motor. it ran really strong and healthy before i took it out. only reason why i took it off was becuz the crankshaft seal or (front main seal) took a dump on me. so i was leaking oil like krazy. i was hoping to save up enough money to rebuild the motor but i dont have time. i bought a JDM H22 cuz i didnt have time to rebuild this one. it does have 200k on the motor. the motor does have severe oil leaks. mainly coming from the front and rear main seal. and the cam seal. no cracks on the block or head. the head might a bent valve. not quite sure which one. but was misfiring a bit. i never got the chance to check it out but thats what i think it is. also, the block i never got to check out. cylinder walls should be ok. it ran strong. never got to do a compression test. but overall...this motor does need a rebuild. good for stock rebuild or racing rebuild. i'd assume all the motor needs is a full seal and gasket kit. found on ebay for like $130. it gives you all the seals and gasket you need from head to block. if you just wanna drive it. all would need replacing would be the crankshaft seal which cost $9 dollars at honda. once that is fix. it will be koo to drive but oil leaks though. i get free oil at work so thats why it really never bothered me cuz all the leaks was small. but the crankshaft seal leaked out 2 quarts in less then 1 minute. so yea thats all you would need to run it in ok condition.

the motor does come nearly complete.

it will come with the following:

head:
everything including Throttle body and Manifold.

block:
everything but timing cover and oil filter mount where you screw the oil filter on. but you can have my mobil 1 oil filter for free! has less than 500 miles on it.

for those who are serious interested i can get you pics tomorrow morning.

update:

here are the pics!!

disreguard the color. blue and gray but chipped when i pulled the motor out.

BUMP for you .... but if your in Socal why is this posted in the Norcal section bro or are you in Norcal some of the time ???

No offense intended here not trying to flame on ya bro but aren't JDM H22's with 50-60k on them are like 900$ nowdays for a totally complete lonblock with a six month wart. ?!?

I mean isn't 450$ firm a bit high for a motor that needs a full rebuild - which is pretty safe to say it honestly does since you ran it still with multipule major seals leaking and you even stated it misfire's and may have a bent valve and that it is missing part's and has over 200k on it ?!?

Sorry not trying to be a jerk here but thats a lot of and's !

I'm actually looking for just a obd1 USDM shortblock to rebuild or one that has low mileage so if you'd like to try and work something out please shoot me a PM !

Take care and good luck !
