For Sale: Audi R8, slightly used
Thought this was interesting.
In the race car classified section in tha back of Racer Mar'02
The Champion privateer 2000-spec Audi R8 is for sale. No price given (I imagine many zeros).
They state it's the car driven in the 2000 LeMans by McNish and claimed 10 ALMS podiums. Was also driven by JHerbet last year.
I wonder if it comes with spares.

Maybe... Mr. Motorrolla might be a problem...
Id ask Jay Leno to race. He was given one of the Cadillac LMP cars... Id challenge him to a race..

I saw that same ad in Hemmings Motor News. The same guy is also selling the Champion Porsche-powered Lola prototype car, and an E36 M3 pro car. Funny thing is, the phone number in the ad is 434, which is western/southern VA. (As in, VIR's area code is 434, as is Charlottesville's.) I'm wondering who owns/brokers such nice racecars around here!

I thought it was given to him... for museum purposes.. He used it on his show once though to pull one of Kevins teeth out... It pulled his whole head off!!!! Funniest bit ever!!!!
