Alright guys i just finished my h22a type s swap into my 98 lude- everything looks great and it ran great to, but tonight on my way home while shifting to third at about 5k i noticed a noise, it got worse the farther i went, it almost sounded like a rod knock but under closer inspection it is coming from the flywheel area, and the clutch pedal vibrated and makes noise when you let it out, kinda raspy sounding, but the car will still move and go in all gears, kinda sounds like something is loose but i only have 30 miles on the swap and i kno the flywheel and clutch were torqed right, but the clutch is not new, but not in need of replacement, so i just turned the flywheel and let it ride, but now i have this horrible noise and a little dust/smoke coming from the bellhousing, anyone have any idea what happend? im taking it apart tom. but i just wanted some imput on what it may be.

when you say that you turned the flywheel, you mean you had it resurfaced?

did you use new flywheel bolts?
