What's wrong with my external Koni adjuster??
I put on a set of Koni yellows in the fall, and stored the car for the winter. I know in the fall I had 3 full turns of adjustment on the front left and front right.
Now, the front left has 3 turns of adjustment and the front right has only 1/4 turn of adjustment! I gently used a pair of pliers to turn the adjuster, but it's not giving me more than 1/4 turn.
Do these adjusters freeze up? WTF?

what kind of gawd-forsaken Konis do you have? I've never heard of 3 full turns of adjustment. Regular Koni yellows have about 1.75 full turns from full soft to full firm, so the 3 full turns business is wierding me out. And the 1/4 turn you have now doesn't make any sense either...
Dunno. I put the little plastic **** on the top and I can/could turn them 1, 2, 3 complete rotations.
I called Koni's tech line and he didn't say anything about the 3 turns. He did say they can get 'jammed' and gave me some tips on 'un-jamming'. He also said they're under warranty...

3 Turns? Hmmm, that's very odd. I get at most 1.75 turns. I would call up Koni first and ask them because obviously they will be informed the most. Secondly, someone said you should never have your shocks at "FULL FIRM"? Why is that....(I'm very skeptical here)?
You guys were right, it's about 1.75 turns from full soft to full firm.
I managed to coax another 1/4 turn out of my 'frozen' strut, so I'm up to 1/2 turn from full soft towards firm. I think the frozen strut is F'd. The bummer is I have a track event at Wakins Glenn in 3 weeks. So I'm going to have to run with it as is and deal with the warranty afterwards.
WG is mostly right turns, so maybe it won't to bad.

The koni yellows i had on my GS-R (which i think were the "neuspeed" sourced ones, with 5 perch grooves instead of 3), allowed 2 full rotations both front and rear. Got them about 2.5 years ago...
