Default Car Stolen!!! Keep on lookout for these rims please...

Damn, never thought I'd be posting one of these messages... My 98 GSR was stolen today at the Oakland A's game, not in the stadium parking(yeah, I know that was stupid). Looks like they busted the windows bypassed the cheezy alarm/engine kill and drove off- in broad daylight. I had some 16" 3-piece RS Betas with a chrome lip, powdercoated black. I have never seen these on anyone elses car in the Bay so please please keep a lookout if someone is trying to sell them. I will give you proper compensation.
Just hit me with a IM, I'll be checking regualarly.

Roam around the 80-90's avenue areas. A lot of recent Oakland theft recoveries are found in those areas.

I drive or take bart to and from fremont to downtown oakland. I'll definately keep an eye out..if you have any pics of the car or wheels, that would help even more.

Well, I got a call from Oakland PD at 230am and they found the car- they described it as 'minor stripped', gotta go see what the damage is. Thanks for all the words of encouragement fellas.

Well, I got lucky. They only took the stereo/amps and of course the wheels. I thought they busted the passenger window because there was glass right near the curb I was parked at. No damage to locks or ignition switch- they must have had a master key??? They took a couple watches I had in there, but didn't touch my duffle bag which had all kinds of personal info, workout gloves/sraps/belts and whatnot- didn't even take my JDM airfreshner lol, or my Skunk shifknob. They were even were kind enough to kick me down some stock civic wheels. Oh well- I really consider myself lucky, especially since I only carried liability insurance. Lesson definately learned. WATCH YOUR ****!!!

Thats good that you got your car. I had someone break into my civic once and they took my amp and sub only so I was lucky too, i had plenty of **** they could have taken but choose not to take it.

Where was it found?? did you get pics of the wheels?? It might be a master key because he did not mention if his ignition was broken. Otherwise the steering wheel will lock

They didn't tell me where they found it- the police just directed me to their records division to get the release paperwork, then the tow company pretty much just showed me it and then released it- sounds like I have to wait for the report in a few weeks. There was not the slightest bit of damage to any locks or ignition switch- I definately had my steering wheel locked too. I was really quite surprised. I'm trying to find some pics of the wheels.
