Mount them to a cage or harnes bar, never to the floor, or a strut bar, that will compress your spine, and or kill you, in the event of an accident.

If you auto-x or RR definitly worth getting to hold you in your seat so you can concentrate on driving.

Its actually not very safe at all... any after-market harnesses are meant to be mount level with the seat back... if you get into an accident with them mounted to the floor, the back seat, or any spot lower than the driver seat back then it will most likely break your collar bone in an accident due to the downward force cause by the mounting position... they are DEFINETLY worth the price... just make sure that you mount them in the right place... good luck...
