K series. If you are talking about an EM2, or anything else.
6-10 g's for a swap Im assuming.
Theres a swap page with info stickied on the top of this forum.
If youre planning a swap in an EM2, a K is your best and most logical choice.
If it is in an EM2, a K-swap is about your only choice too, as since you live in CA, smog would be impossible to pass with anything like a B or H, plus not to mention how much of a pain in the *** it would be to install.

WHAT CAR DO U HAVE SO WE CAN GIVE U A PROPER ANSWER?
For a 2001+ Civic, get a k20a
For a 2000 and below civic, get a b20z
unless ur rich, then get the k20.

IMO the k20a3 is a waist of $$$. THe k20a2 is very expensive where i live.
$5000 canadian for engine/tranny
$750+ for mounts
$500 for extras
+ emanage
a b20z is like maybe $2000 canadian
$4000 is a lot of money, and that IF u did everything urself.
