Trying to put a new starter in my car. (Below) The Honda starters I have previously dealt with only had 2 bolts holding it on. I have removed those 2 already and it's not coming off. I am not seeing anything else holding it in place. Is there anything I'm missing?

 

make sure both 14mm bolts are removed and all connections tap it loose...hammer time

 

i would use a rubber mallet to get it loose

its probably crusted in there with grease and dirt that has accumulated over the past years

turns out,you shouldnt try these types of maintanance at dusk
well theres a bolt that is right under it,looked like it was on the tranny case...well thats the bot we undid,and completly missed the other starter bolt...nervous laughter...so we broke of the old starter thinkin it was just the grease and gunk and sludge on a stubborn starter
go tthe new one on moments afer and it starts right up with no hesitation...so theres one more mod/maintanance notch on my belt thanx for all the input and tips though
