Quick question, is the ARC Induction box worth buying vs other intake systems? It looks really nice, but is the appearence value > than the performance value?

When I had my ARC, I felt more throttle response. I think this intake is more of a bling factor....one guy thought my intake was a super charger!

 

Blingin Intake. Heat Soak Though

 

i could see how if its really a hot day and not really moving much you can get heat soak,

but like the j's, mugen, and arc, i think they work better than stock once your going over 50 MPH, under that, the stock box is probably better.

i would personally would never buy it,

 

$1000 for 3 whp, do you think its worth it?

 

that money could be better spent elsewhere than ARC box

For the prices of other intake systems. It’s worthless.

and if you ask me, it's overpriced for what it is

 

any more and intake is an intake.

stock is great

 

way over priced and def. not worth it. best bang for your buck is just the aem v2.

the vented hood will help dispurse the heat soak

yeah but it looks soooo fuckkkin nice........ i dont pop my hood for anyone but myself anyway so it wouldnt be worth it to me

Might as well drive w/ your hood off since people DO get it for only bling bling factor. But hey if you have to ask whether its worth it or not, you probably shouldnt buy it.

Damn, look at that thing! It's beautiful!!! I was wondering about that guy that said it's $1K, because everywhere I saw it, it was around $600 like you stated.

Anyway, I'm still debating on what to get. My options are very limited becuase I have an 06'!
