I Have A HU: Alpine CDE-9852 http://www.crutchfield.com/S-D...E9852 with the full speed ipod cable. when i hook up my ipod (this has worked for over two weeks now, fully updated in working condition) it says ok to disconnect, forever. on the HU it searches forever, and never works. i disconnected my battery (negative side) to hope to re set it. didn't work. i got it a crutchfield so they have great customer service, but i was wondering if theres something i can do.

 

you reset the ipod too? otherwise, you might have to reset the headunit via the small pin button.

is that on the back of the HU?

 

yea back or bottom, if you have a hard time finding it check the users manual.
