i have a B16a(pr3ecu) in my crx si check engine light is on and vtec is working from what i know vtec shouldn't be working when check light is no. but the this is were it gets crazy ok vtec will only work when the check light is on. if the lights off no vtec, i have one code and its the knock senor but if i take it out no vtec. just woundering if anyone knew whats up thanks.

 

my car is kind of like that... my car has to be warmed up for vtec to work and when it is warmed up my check engine light comes on and then vtec works fine.. car still runs perfect so im not really worrying about it lol

 

im in the same boat with the vtec working with the engine light on
