cd5 accord 5-speeds rare???
hey all accord gurus! i used to own a 96 4door accord with A/T, but sadly it was in a bad accident, so i went on to ef civics and such. now i have made up my mind, and its time for me to buy another cd5, but im haveing a problem finding what i want on sites such as autotrader, and cars.com. there doesnt seem to be many accords with a 5 speed tranny in the EX trim. so my question:::
were 5 speed EX's rare?
i understand the accord is more of a family car, with comfort in mind, hence the auto trans, but i know they are out there!
also, here is a pic of my old accord, may she rip :[

thnx in advance everyone!

being that the auto trans was a realtively cheap add on, most people opted for it. If you are worried about the longevity of the auto, don't be. They last a very long time and are not the disasters that the 6th gen transmissions are.
EX 5sp aren't rare. It all depends where you are looking.
As far as 5th and 4th generation, there is a big number of standard transmission vehicles.
EX's and LX's became very rare as 5sp with the 6th generation in the united states.

When I was looking for a car I found a bunch of them in different colors also... cars.com had a few, but maybe right now there isnt alot.... If you hang around a few maybe few dozen will def. pop up.

5-speed EX are very common. I was just thumbing trough Autotrader.com the other day and found some. I think you should just call around because some places dont really classify wether they have an LX or EX. Also try and expand your search try 100 miles. Nice looking CD by the way. What kind of wheels are those? Are they bronze? they really look good. Good luck with your search.
thnx everyone for the replies... i just found a 4 door LX in 5 spd, and i am thinking about picking it up!
