did anyone catch the host of Sports Car Revolution call the s2000 the ultimate chick car? I don't agree cuz i love the s2k, but i'm just wondering if you guys caught it and what you think? Sorry if this has been posted but I never visit this section.

 

I didn't catch it but I don't think it's a chick car at all. My only beef with that car is any real man doesn't fit in it

The ONLY reason why they branded it a chick car is because its a drop top. Boxster is branded a "chick car" , the S is branded a "chick car", the Miata is branded a "chick car" so on. IMO the only real "chick car" is the miata (appearance wise of course )

 

well that show is pretty stupid as it is and they don't really know what they are talking about......

and with that one rocker dude.. if the car was black he'd love it...doesn't matter if it's a geo metro or a ferrari.. if it's black it's in his books..

The only reason why I'd say it's got a bit of feminine characteristics is because it's got ZERO leg room. I'm 5'11", and I got the seat all the way back. My friends, who are 6'2"+, cannot fit comfortably in the car. Their knees are hitting the dash, seats cannot be reclined to a comfortable angle, etc.

if miata = "chick car", then s2k = "chick car" they just have way too many similarities.

drop top Ferraris are chick cars too. Sport Car Revolution is like the worst show when they review cars.

I disagree, I think the Miata has proven more than once it is still the dominant roadster around town.

Keep in mind this is the best selling roadster in the world you are talking about. Our little S's are in a big ballpark - the miata's ballpark to be exact.
