Default mugen valve cover

I got this mugen valve cover and I'm wondering if it's authentic. I know tenzo r makes mugen stlye valve covers and they arn't worth much. Is there any way to find out it's real mugen?

look at the e and the n in mugen and is the valve cover bolt hole is between the two letters its real. if not and the hole is right above the n its fake... also look at the baffle. mugen only uses a screw in type oil baffle.... but more than likely if you spent around $300+ you better hope you know what your buying. if you do an archive search this has been discussed more than enough times.

here is a fake one.. see the where the valve bolt hole is above the n.. fake.. real is between the e and the n

yup, i can vouch for cxshoe
i seen it yesterday, how you can tell if its a real mugen valve cover
if the screw is between the letter E and N its a real cover
but it the screw lines up on the letter N its fake
how you dont get jipped and buy the real deal

i really don't see much of a difference. Is there a weight difference? Should I try to get a picture taken of mine?

No harm, no foul on a free valve cover.

Weight difference? The last reason I would choose a valve cover is on weight. I would rather know it's quality and not going to crack.

I was wondering if there was a weight difference between mugen and the real thing so I could tell them apart. wait a sec, hmm. If my valve cover 1 lb instead of 3 i could shave 8 tenths of a second off my quarter mile et!!! jk!

Stock is usually boring to look at. Powdercoating/customizing is fun.
