Help with my dash swap PLEASE!!
Hey guys, I am new to the site and really need everyones imput. First of I just somewhat completed my integra dash swap in my 95 cx civic and have run into a few probloms, Does the integra dash normally sit up quite a bit higher than the stock dash??when I was putting in my shifter consol and my arm rest I noticed there really isn't any way to secure it other than to the bottom of the dash?? what did you guys do??Also when I start my car up my wipers go on and I can't turn them off. One more thing the wire that goes from the heater blower to the back of the heater control I can't get hooked up, I tried the civic one and it seems to be too short. I had modify my civic blower as I could not find one in my area,I also used the integra under dash harness. Overall everything else works great.
thanks
thanks
the dash is sitting high because you are not using the integra heatercore. to get the center console to bolt in you need a integra brackets, and there is a piece of Styrofoam that goes under it to give you the right hight. I have no clue what is wrong with your wipers, but you must of made a mistake in you wireing.
I trimmed the civic blower all the way down , I looked and the dash does not touch it at all. I did however use the civic dash mounts?? could that be the problom?? thanks for your help
If you think the heater core is not affecting it it could be you have to trime more of the dash or mounts. I also used the civic dash mounts but I had to cut a piece of the mounts of on both side to make it fit right.
Thanks man for your help ^^ I didn't trim anything off the dash mounts. Everything else seems to be fine ,the integra dash I bought was already in a eg so all the trimming was already done, the only thing really left would be the mounts so I will try that.
