i have 2 preludes a 00 and 01 the 01 i just swapped a greddy turbo kit onto, the other non turbo car has 71k miles the 01 has 45k. The one with 71k has a lsd flywheel and exedy clutch that acutally shifts better than the one with 45k miles, the one with 45k was rebuilt well the synchros was at 8k miles. I was going to switch the trannys but unsure if i should due to having an extended warranty on the car, so if i switch the tranny and blow it out i might here a line of crap or they might not want to cover it under warranty. The tranny switches gears great now but thinking long term here. What would you peeps do here????? need some advice!

 

i would say you can froget warranty already with a turbo on there, jstu do what you want to make the car run well.

 

i could prob take the turbo off if anything went wrong, i guess it all depends really

 

they can only deny you warranty if they can prove the problem was caused by the modification, they might give you a hard time about it, but they can't void the warranty
