cant find anythign on this wheni searched. i just bought my car back from the guy i sold it to . he put an engine swap.. just a regular d15b2. i did an mpfi swap and he just kept it on. drove the car today and as i was down shifting the car backfired... is backfiring always a bad thign or is it safe sometimes.. its got a louder muffler on it too.
thanks
thanks
Its probably the larger exhaust... Its pretty common for Hondas to do this when you upgrade the exhaust... Mine did it when I added on an axle back in my CRX... My g/f likes to poke fun and says my car farts...
Nothing too worry about... So long as theres no flames shooting out of the exhaust...
