where do you get generic polyurethane bushings?
i dont need any specific size yet, i just need a source to buy them from. so if i am making a mount for something and i decide it needs a bushing with a 1/4 inch inner diameter or whatever, i need to be able to order that specific bushing.
where do i get that from?

Energy suspension makes the most mounts, etc., on the market, but I am afraid there is noone who stocks "generic" bushings.
I generally make my own. The chemicals are available online and making molds is not hard.

Alternatley you could do what I do, just get some 6/6 nylon rod and turn it/centerdrill it in a lathe to whatever dimensions you need. You don't have to wait for an order to be filled, pay for shipping over and over, etc.

You can buy 2 types of poly from this website. http://www.mcmaster.com/
one compund is stiffer than the other. Basically you order the mix, make a mold or rig up a way to poor the poly right into the conrol arm, and finally let it dry.

McMaster-Carr might be a good place to get metal, but if you want pourable polyurethane buy it from someone who specializes in pourable polyurethane.

Everything from Shore A5 (good for making sex toys) all the way up to Shore A95 (which makes Nylon seem soft)
Molding is done with whatever molding methods you usually use. Bye a dye additive if you want a certain color.
