hey ,i did some searching around already and couldnt find nothing

last night when i turned my car on my maint light flashed a couple of times, i know it isnt something bad but i just wanted to know what it might be that i will have to check or get replaced any help would be great

how many miles are on your car? you can easily turn off the light with a push of a botton under the steering colum. maintance lights are just there to remind you that you need to do some maintance on your car.

 

Don't you have an owner's manual for your car? You should; it answers questions like these. You can buy one here.

The maint light goes on 7500 miles after the last time it was reset. It is designed to keep track of miles between oil changes.

There are LOTS of previous topics that tell how to reset it. Did you try a <u><FONT COLOR="red">Search</u></FONT>? You know, using that bold red word at the top of your screen? If you did, just on archived topics in this forum with "maint light" in the title, you would find:

my car just hit the 100k so idk i change my oil like 3 weeks ago so i dont think its that

idk maybe timing belt owell
i do have the manual i forgot bout that thanks ill check that out

Again, the light goes on 7500 miles since the last time it was reset. If you didn't reset the light when you changed your oil, that's why it's going on now. (It's not like some of the newer cars that actually keep track of the oil quality and driving patterns to determine when to light up.)
