i have an ls and i plugged the gsr ecu in and it redlines at 68. why is it because i don't have vtec? the car doesn't respond nice until i hit 3 and it just pulls hard all the way to 68. why is that?

Do you even know why you did that

 

you should be throwing codes since the gsr ecu is looking for the things that your ls doesnt have (iabs, vtec, knock sensor, etc.).... your car is probably running in limp mode because of this...... stick to your ls ecu if you want your car to run properly
