Some Pics Of My Mugen CR-X
Today I went out to take some pics of my friend's friend's MX3 because she was in town and didnt have any decent pics of her car. So we went around and shot at a few places. I made sure to get some pics in of my ride while she was setting up for the next shot or just before we left. We were out for about 4 hours and hit up 5 places. Anyways here are the pics of my ride.

The pics are not the greatest because I only did them in passing. The pics of her car came out better, but its a show car and HT people can be mean so those pics are not going up. Oh and no I dont have pics of the car's owner before you even ask.

Actually it has crossed my mind and Ive put a lot of time and consideration into it. Right now the rims are not in the best of shape. The former owner of them never really took the time and effort to keep them in tip top shape. This caused years and years of brake dust to become caked onto them really badly. I took some polish and a high speed buffer to them for about 30min and got one lip to shine fairly well. The problem is that the buffer was too large, even with a 3" pad, to get into all the little nooks and crannies on the rim. So what Im eventually going to do when I get some money is take them apart and polish them correctly. Im thinking I might take the centers and get them painted and get the studs nickel plated to look like the black faced MR5s. But then again this all costs money and I dont really have much to throw around at the moment. Maybe over the winter and after I fix the body on my other CRX.

If you have the time and patience, you can actually polish the lip by hand, but it does take quite awhile. We did a friends CPR's because they were discolored and the clear coat had been eaten away because they were so old. You could always paint the faces yourself, but the bolts would have to be redone, and that would certainly cost you.

Here is a quick rendering of what it would look like if I did paint the centers black. Please note I didnt do the studs in nickel or the inside of the lip like the real ones because that would take too much time in PS to do and Im going to bed LOL.
