Default is it worth buying a "new" head for a 92 civic

hey
my car has 330,000 kms on it. its a 92 si hatch. the car is blowing a bit of white smoke, so i think its time to do the headgasket. i found a completely refinished D16z6 head for around $150 cdn. is it worth changing the head too? or because of the 330,000 kms on the block, its not worth it...
any help appreciated, thanks

If you are planning on keeping the engine for a while then yes. Make sure you replace the rings also. (inspect pistons for damage too)

If that's the case, I recommend performing a leakdown test. See where leaks are, then decide what to do. If there's pressure in the crankcase, then a different head won't help too much. If it's just symptoms of a leaking head gasket, then replace the head.
