215/45/17 or 215/40/17
they have different outer diameters so depending on your stock tire size, one may throw off your spedometer/odo more than the other.
difference in performance due to sidewall flex between those two sizes would be pretty negligible, especially if its a street car.

The larger tire may also rub. And it will result in slightly slower acceleration in any gear.
Stick with 205/40-17 for any Integra or pre-'01 Civic.
Unless you already have the tires, in which case they're free and you may as well use them up, then get the proper size when you need to replace them...

Then 205/45-17 is the best match. 215/45-17 is too big (2.3 percent larger diameter than stock) and might rub.

You guys are 90% right about everything, speedo being off(not much) and what not.
But it comes down to how low your car sits. If you are slammed, you'll need to the 40 series and not the 45.
Also, it depends on how wide your wheel is, and the offset of the wheel....
On the 5th Gen prelude, what rims are those going on, stock or aftermarket, how wide is the wheel and lastly, are you lowered?
We need more details to help you out.
