Default Shift Linkage/Pin Troubles

My shifter is wobbly while its in gear so I took out the pin and expanded it a little bit and put it back in. I also checked all the bolts/bushings. It still wobbles pretty bad. I noticed that the part that comes out of the tranny and pins to the linkage the diameter of the hole is larger than the pin and hole on the linkage. What can I put in there to make it fit good. I know the wobble is coming from their becuase I had a friend shake the shifter while ill was under looking at different spots. The linkage spins just a little bit around the part coming out of the tranny. Also I want to brag about my awesome tool for getting the pin out. Its a pin for a house door hinge. Its the perfect length and diameter.

sound like someone in the past drilled the pin out and its now larger. you might have to put a larger bolt in
