Default Ericks Racing Throttle Body

Anyone have the ericks racing 68 mm throttle body? Does it perform well?

Also, what is the most you can bore out the throttle body opening on a Skunk2 Intake Manifold?

Thank

Yes, I have one installed on my LS/VTEC Civic. I noticed a significant power gain with it installed.
I had to make my own gasket, and I had to match the intake manifold port size, other than that it was a simple bolt on.

Doesn't he charge like $400 plus for that? I was going to buy one, but realized it cost a grip. So I just had my stock GSR bored out to 64mm

The opening on the Skunk2 Intake Manifold is 64mm.

Why not just send your TB to Raver Motorsports and ask for Vernon... (559)733-4711

They do an awsome job and turn around time is perfecto.

Then when you get it back, simply use a dremmel and portmatch the IM with the TB and call it a day....

You get optimum performance when the air is not disrupted... thus having the SAME size transition from the TB to the Intake manifold will work best...

p.s.--- In NA applications such as yours... bigger bore is not always better... remember that VELOCITY is what counts.... so the right size is what you need... to big might give a slightly higher "peak HP" number... but the torque curve is what wins races...
