not to be mean or anything, but you get what you pay for.
These and all other major/small suspension companies probably copy the same platform of suspension as others.

It's probably the HUGE companies that design their stuff to their own specs. Like Tein, blah blah blah... That's just IMO.

You'd have an easier time trying to convince me to put Teins on my ITR

Considering both of these companies have just recently popped up I'll go out on a limb and say dont make yourself a gineua pig. The latest trend is a new coilover name/company every week, each one looking exactly like the set before it; anodized or powdercoated different colors. Not to mention:

Who the f*&$% needs that many settings? And how much does anyone considering these suspension actually know about suspension, even stock? I'm willing to take a guess at "not very much".

If anyones thinking they all look like they come from the same big factory in Taiwan, I'd prob just start laughing.

Have you used them? If not, your just cluttering this thread with more useless information. If you have, please emphasize why you feel this way.

I've had personal experience with the d2, and function form (f2) coilovers and they appear to be exactly the same as far as build quality and materials. They do include minor changes such as labeling and colors but nothing significant.

I truely believe that these coilovers, along with ksport all come from the same factory if not sister factories in taiwan.

Fitment and usage is top notch for what you pay for. I have yet to see any long term tests done on these coilovers because it doesn't seem like people have been using them for a long time yet.

Compared to other setups I have driven and owned, I would have to say that these are in the middle of the line as far as quality and performance goes. Much better than omni but not as nice as tein/zeal/buddyclub.

There are also a few other ht members that have tracked the f2 suspension setups lately, it might be a good idea to ask them about it. You can find most of them praising their f2 coilover setups in the sponsors forum.

we been useing ksport for over a year on a civic thats daily driven ,autocrossed and roadraced with out any issues(the car is not babied by any means). if you want an actual personal experience pm DDD on here hes the owner of the civic.

i have a set on my nissan 240 and we sold quite a few sets to others whole autocross and track their cars and they are also very happy with them.

from what i heard, ksport, D2 and race logic coilovers are made in the same factory.

You read my mind...I've daily driven a set of TEIN super streets and a set of D2'S on my 92 accord.... the D2's were just as nice.. BUT, the D2's were 400 dollars less.

i almost went from tein to PIC, but i switched back to tein, ride quality from tein whether it was very stiff or very soft didnt compare to the ride of the PIC where i didnt even notice any real change when playin with the adjustability, Tein all the way, mind you, i havent tried any others like Buddyclubs, etc.

I currently run the Function & Form coilovers on mine and it's great for the price. Ride is ok for me even though they give you pretty high spring rates initially, but I hear you can ask for different spring rates. The quality of the coilover themselves are good, with the only gripe I have is how you have to use zip-ties to hold the brake lines. It's not a really problem, just looks ugly. Been running on them for close to 4 months now and an auto-x and not a problem.

I've had my Ksports on my car for 21k miles and about 11 months now. No problems with mine on my WRX.

thanks for all the feedback guys

but i found a place that sells koni yellows, and ground controls in a package deal, for 768 shipped, and i can get what ever spring rates i want

thats a good deal, i found konis for 476 and ground controls for 315 so its cheaper to buy the package deal

does anyone know who sells the ground control tophats?

Pssst. Message the guy selling the Function and Form coilovers.... I got mine for a lot cheaper than your Koni and GC deal. If price was your decision maker that is.
