clutch problem on 98 sh
i went go get into my car bout 10 mins ago and i got zero pressure on the clutch peddle. not sure if im usin the right terminology, basically i push the pedal down and it jus goes down with out any fight and i can't put the car into gear. the clutch fluid bottle to the right of the master brake fluid was empty. accordin the owners manual i put in some brake fluid but im still not getting anything. can someone help me out. this is my first 5-speed so im a bit of a noob with this.
i have no fluid tho, can u respond asap on how to pump fluid back into the system and if i gotta replace that **** how much is it gonna run me and how hard is it to do
if it's your master cyclinder you should also change your slave cyclinder so that you know both parts are new adn you won't have to bleed the system all over again if the other fails

You prolly just ran out of fluid, but you cant just fill it up it needs to be bled...(sounds like you know that though)
There should be a write up though around here somewhere, but yeah better to waste $4 on some fluid than replace a bunch of stuff you dont need too.

slaves are cheap...like 27 bucks
mine was a different story...
my hose gave out first....i had to flush out the old fluids...
then a couple weeks later my slave started to die...i think it didnt like the new fresh fluid..hahah

update. boss came over and helped me bleed the line, i can get it in gear. im gonna take it down to my friends oil change shop have him change the gear fluid and clutch fluid. any recomends on gear and clutch fluid?
as for tranny fluid, I'd go with Honda Manual Transmission fluid, and since you're up there, just get Honda Brake Fluid as well. You can use that stuff for the clutch also
update.
4th of july clutch line was bled out. today i was at my friends oil change shop and flushed out and put in fresh honda manual tranny oil. thanx for all the help guys. feels great btw when i shift
