Like the topic says... Honda Integra ZX-AWD

Yes AWD integra

How much does everybody know about it and is it worth tracking down and boosting it?

from what I hear, no no its not. The drivetrain is very very weak and would break relatively easy with more power to it.

i doubt its the same drive train as a crv. I believe they were a early 90s integra.

which means they have front struts for suspension with torsion bars... no springs etc.

Most people do the conversion using crv parts but the actual Honda Integra ZX-AWD is still unknown until some one please have real proof.

It's known about the CRV AWD into the Integra conversion but the limits of the Honda Integra ZX-AWD drivetrain is yet to be proven. If it is weak then just get stronger axels and drive shaft and etc....

I remember seeing this car in a Honda brochure I had awhile back. I cant find the brochure so damn, that sucks. I remember it being a DB8 4 dr style and what made it unique was that it had a windshield wiper on the rear window. I dont recall what motor/trans it had in it though. Sorry, I know that didnt help much.

i remember reading up about this a while back...it came out in 1994...and i think..it was XSI. something like that i could be wrong...but it was basically 90% power to the front and 10% to the back...from what i can remember...so basically it is a fwd. if you think about it. but i could be wrong...someone back me up on this.

Thats a whole lot of money to waist on an integra.... There is a guy on here who made a mid-engine rear wheel drive h22a integra. I dont know how much he spent but i bet it was a wholelot less than that.

what they meant was. if they added up the man hours from everybody involved, time spent weaking at events etc, then the cost of the investment and r&d would be that much

its still cool, anytime power is going to the rear, its going to be an advantege.

Saying this is gay is like saying 3rd and 4th gear burnouts dont get old.
