Gains from carsound cat
I did a search...
I've had a testpipe and found decent butt-dyno gains on my stock motor. I've come to a little snag in the budget and am wondering if I should really bother right now with a carsound cat or not. If I don't pick one up, I'm planning on having my stock cat modified with a 2.5" inlet for the time being.
I've never really found any hard dyno facts given to high-flow cats, just wondering what peoples opinions are on my idea. TIA

its really hard to say what specific gains you get out of it. freeing up restricted exhaust gases is always a good thing. im prety sure you pick up a few horsepower in the process depending what mods you did. im sure most of the power gain is throughout the mid and high end.
its kinda like sayin having a poorly ported/polished b16 head over a stock b18c5 head..which one is gonna flow better. You know where its at.
Running out of cash from budgets =
Ok guys, you convinced me to get the cat... I guess I'll have to just wait it out to get rid of my dumb indiglos and pick up a JDM cluster a little later!!!
