New Civic Hatch in NorCal See Pics!
I've been helping my brother look for a used car for the past several weeks and yesterday we finally located "the one". After perusing the junk on autotrader and craigslist I stumbled upon an ad posted on a conventional (non-electronic) bulletin board at a local establishment. Apparently this was the only place it advertised. The seller called me back late last night after initially telling me it was sold to some guy who flaked. Needless to say I jumped on it.
The car is a 1990 Civic Hatchback DX 5 speed, 128k miles, recently serviced with fresh A/C recharge, new Michelins, newish clutch, WP, belts, ignition components etc.
Car is all stock except for the Blaupunkt CD player. No body damage except for minor driver's side fender blemish. Original paint is in excellent condition. Included were the original owner's manual, window sticker and most of the maintenance records. Needs nothing except a new horn. It was freshly detailed and even incuded a half tank of gas.
The best of all is that it is an original owner car, at least up until today. Easily passed CA smog.
Purchased for $1,400.00
Here are some pics.

Thanks. I was really shocked that the price was so low. The owner is moving his family at the end of the week and didn't want to take it with him, that and the market for his advertisement was very small. I just finished giving it a tune-up. The old plugs are the perfect grayish-tan color.
The hatchbacks are quite a bit different than the sedans....even more peppy and they corner like they are on rails. Very, very fun car
