I want to start a new project. I currently have just finished a CRX SI/ZC Swap, short shifter, cruise control, pwr steering. and hope to sell trade for an 88-91 Hatchback SI. Bad motor/drivetrain is OK with me I plan to do a complete swap any way. If it was the perfect car it would be light blue too! Any body got one for sale or trade.

I personally think SIs are overrrated. Unless you just MUST have that sunroof, there is really no reason to go with one. Everything else on an SI (seats, carpeting, etc.) can be swapped onto ANY other model. And the lower trim Civics all weigh MUCH less that SIs, making the most of any engine you swap in. And lower trim HBs (DX, STD) are MUCH cheaper and easier to find.

 

yeah thats true but when i bought the one i just sold. i had always heard to stay away from dx's because of the vtec wiring.. i heard the si's were better for vtec motors????

 

i got one that need some body work you pick it up and a 100 bucks and it yours. no motor or interior
