Default painted header cover

so my header cover was very rusty and instead of trying to clean it i painted it
let me know what you think

I'm also very new to this site and i haven't posted any pics of my car yet so here is my 01 gsr just got it about 2 weeks ago after selling my ek hatch

clean car man,,but this doesnt belong here...in the home page, croll down where it says appearance/cosmetic then you can show of your car...but this is only tech related

^^^agreed with both of them, but clean car.. and instead of painting the heat shield why not just buy headers?? look Much better and of course help more than stock....

also have a quick question will headers give me more power if i have my stock muffler and will my car sound different?

It was very easy unscrew 4 bolts take out the cover and paint it
i had some black primer laying around so i used it

Yup I did the same thing to mine, except I used flat black BBQ paint cuz it can resist 1200 degree heat

i put a 4-2-1 header on mine with the stock exhaust...you can feel the vtec alittle better, just put a cat-back, high-flow cat...THEN you'll feel what the vtec is all about.....

Even the normal paint is fine for the cover, you don't need highheat for it.

If you get 4-1 mid - high torque will increase and 4-1 also make it lil louder.. you wont really be able to tell until you out catback and highflow...

wow man. try riding in a 200+hp vtec honda and you will know vtec is all about.
