I wouldnt remove any part of the SRS system unless you have another means of driver safety. (Rollbar + harness). Not to mention, your car will never pass inspection agian (pending on location), and you will have an SRS light on in the instrument cluster.

check your pm. should answer any other future questions you have on your car....

just a reminder to you:

1. if you get into an accident. hope to god the other party doesnt know that all 92+ cars in the united states will have an airbag standard.

2. hope that the police officer doesnt ask you "did your airbag go off" unfortunately its the 1st couple of questions that will be asked. and then checked through the onboard computer in the patrol car, unfortunately the computer will say in bold if any car came equipted with an airbag system. so you could be charged with lying aswell. i know this because i work in law enforcement...so becareful.

3. look at your insurance policy, if i remember you can be dropped instantly for giving false information. your policy runs the basics and if you notice your paperwork will show " car is airbagged equipted" this is before you pay and they ask you if the information is correct by you signing the document you have now stated that your car does have an airbag system. and not to mention hope you dont get an adjuster that is willing to make the insurance company spend thousands in your paying your claim... for some reason they usually dont hence extra care is taken during inspections. "hummmmm your airbag didnt deploy... hey wait a minute you took it off" "cool this claim will be my easiets....dropped instantly"

4. this refers to #1 just hope you dont also get sued for damages from the other party if your insurance finds out and drops you... a broken arm is at miminum a $1,000+ fee.

5. if you can control the next time you get into an accident, and the people involved in the whole situation. nevermind what i just said.

6. needless to say a financial nightmare just to look cool with an aftermarket wheel.... atleast get a mugen one if your going to put your neck and possibly your future earning capacity on the line? and not some cheap ricer wheel.
