Default Compression question

I have a D16Z6 that makes around 185psi per cylinder, and a B16A that makes around 170psi per cylinder. I run the D16Z6 on 87 octane gas, and it seems to run fine. Does this mean that I can also run the B16A on 87 octane because the compression is so low?

Ok, guess I'll have to spend a few hours researching this on my own..
