Default Autocross publicity in order to get rid of street racing in Virginia

http://www.hamptonroads.tv/ind...&fv=1

just thought i'd post up since autocross doesn't get much publicity and street racing is very bad over here. so the media came to one of our local events to recify it a little more.

they got my car there too!

Yes autocrosses are great things but I don't think it is going to keep some young kid from doing something dumb in a fast car.

It may decrease the chances, though.

Hopefully, once they see how nice it is to not worry about cops, traffic, bystanders, and unpredictable surface conditions, they'll recognize how dangerous it really is to drive fast on the street.

Plus, the attitude of nearly all "serious" autocrossers is to take it easy on the street, and maybe that mindset will carry over to the rookies.
