my sister friend blew her headgasket on her 02 civic( i dont know how), i am going to change her headgasket mine question is 1.7l engine are the same as to d15,d16 and can anybody get me torque spec. i do know how to put a motor together i bluid my 2.0l, i have never work on this engine?

 

no iam sure the d17 is diffrent from the d15,d16

 

witch d motor is it a d17a1 or d17a2 the d17a2 is a Vtech and is in the ex the d17a1 is in the lx and dx

1. Ever use periods?

2. It is VTEC, not vtech, vitec, vetak, or anything else...... Vtech is a toy manufacturer.

To the OP. check out http://hondaautomotiveparts.com and the dealership. You can pretty much call any dealership and find out the torque specs on anything. What is it youre actually looking around on torque specs for. The head bolts themselves?
