VIS and SPOON are some of the best CF products IMO...But they are very pricey..Check passwordjdm.com They got alot of good stuff there..

An ok price would be around 350-400. You'd be getting a deal if you got a brand new one for 300. And don't buy any no name one's. Either go with VIS, or password jdm, or some other places have legit hoods too. But VIS fits the best. I bought one with no name and fits like crap, but still get the benefits of carbon fiber.

If you buy a good one, all you do is replace the stock hood, 4 screws and that's it.

Well, make sure you know for sure if the place you are going to order it from has them in stock because most of the places i've tried to order from are out of stock(especially Seibon hoods) and can't get the hood for about 3 monthes. I need to cancel my order with Andysautosport for a VIS and order a Seibon one from one of the companies on here.
VIS makes very nice produts, rolled edges and everything
hood pins would be a wise investment, ive had 3 friends CF hoods fly up on them on the freeway, it was pretty scary when youre going 75mph

not true, you have to move the latch down, or up... and play around with the hinges bc no two hoods can be perfectly identical
