How much did u guys pay for your RSX type S?
I am thinking of purchasing a RSX type S, either new or used, and I was wondering what did you guys paid for it. I found a used one with roughly 45k miles for 21k , pretty steep for the miles. If possible a 6spd CL type S is a consideration providing, it falls within the 3 grand price difference. Thanks all feedback is certainly welcome.
that's a joke, 45k miles is a lot for a used car although they're sure to be highway miles...get 'em down to 19.5k
$21k for 45k miles? the guy is obviously trying to screw you unless he has some nice mods on there....
but just to let you know you can get a new 06 rsx-s for ~22,750..
edit:: wow i just looked at the date this was posted and i realized it was 2002....
i got got owned

you should be able to pick up a type-s now if u shop around for 16.5K in decent condition with decent miles. 21K is ridiculous for used IMO u can pick up a new one for almost that much.

lol yeah i got an awesome deal. well what had happened was the orignal owner got in a minor accident.. it involved the right fender, the drivers door, the hood, and the bumper. The owner thought that this was going to cost a lot of money to repair but it only costed 1800 to repair the everything. so he sold it to the insurance company and since it was damaged when he sold it to them, they had to title it salvaged. they fixed it up and sold it to me for 15500. and thats the story of my RSX-S.
P.S the frame was untouched and so was the right headlamp. but the right headlamp has a broken bracket which means the headlamp is kinda out of place, but no worries i'm getting it fixed for cheap.

Just drove mine home today.
06 RSX-S, 4999 miles, was a trade in the night before I found it. Guy was a personal friend of the salesman I was dealing with, worked for FEMA so bought the RSX in october, but was in New Orleans for most of it. All highway miles, and it's mint.
The sales rep screwed up when he was talking to me, initially told me 21,000 which is what they gave him in trade-in value. The sticker they were supposed to put on was 26,500 so his manager kicked his butt, but I got it for 22,000 + tax, title, etc.
Still got another K to decide if I wanna extend the new car factory warranty... What you guys think, worth it?
