Default H22 injectors

I have a B18C5 engine in my vic. My injector harness is split at its end and I have 4 injector connectors hanging in my engine bay. The previous owner tells me I have H22 injectors on the car now. Why does the injector harness need to be split? Are the H22 injectors of a different OBD? Why can't I use the stock connectors on these H22 injectors?

If they are high impedance they require a resistor box to run, otherwise you will fry your ECU.

What if the injectors are of low impedance and I hook them up with the resistor box?

What will happen without the resistor box?
